Ontarios Crazy Donut Lady

with a name like Joosie Sweets it was especially important that we included donuts sprinkled (pun intended) all throughout the visual identity, after all Jess wanted to make it clear to the world she was a Donut Lady not just a "sweets" Lady. the biggest challenge was "how can we make it stand out from other donut shops while still including a donut in the name". to do this we heavily leaned in to the 70s phychedelic vibe. including dripping icing on the bottom to illusrate the "joosieness" and 70s inspired typography intergrated into the donut spelling out the company name; all in a simplified manor to keep a modern aesthetic.

Colour Theory

The color palette for JoosieSweets, creates a vibrant and inviting brand identity. Together, these colors evoke feelings of fun, creativity, and indulgence, perfectly aligning with the playful and unique nature of gourmet donuts. 

The combination of warm and cool tones enhances visual appeal, ensuring the brand stands out while resonating with customers who seek delightful and innovative treats. This cohesive palette effectively communicates the joyful and indulgent experience that JoosieSweets offers.

JoosieSweets believes that life is too short for ordinary donuts. That’s why Jess and her team handcraft each gourmet donut using the finest ingredients, bursting with unique flavors and vibrant colors. 

Goals for Branding

  • Build a visual identity that is a balance between modern/ welcoming & a psychedelic 70s vibe.

  • Find creative ways to incorporate the name within a donut
